  Pronghorn Valley Metropolitan District is a quasi-municipal corporation and political subdivision of the State of Colorado located in the City of Aurora, Colorado. The District contains approximately 60 acres of mixed-use development north of Southlands Mall.

The District was formed in 2017 to design, construct, acquire, operate, and maintain various public improvements pursuant to its service plan, as approved by the City of Aurora.
 
     
 
 
 

Notice
 

House Bill 23-1105 was enacted May 24, 2023 by the Colorado Legislature concerning the creation of task forces to examine issues affecting certain homeowners’ and metropolitan district homeowners’ rights. 

 

The Bill states that a metropolitan district shall notify its residents about the task force before the task force holds its first meeting, scheduled to occur on or before November 1, 2023.
